"Find me Save me You don't want me? You can't have me! But I know you'll never Scale these heights Without me" Sometimes I still think of you But I'm better off here alone Without you Leave me You're not the only one In need of escape Leave me Stay in that fucking tower You call home Home

about

Following his acclaimed 2010 debut "The Muse in the Machine" [Tympanik Audio], Lost + Directionless is a project years in the making. A decisive continuation of the musician's haunting body of work, Lost + Directionless is his most cerebral and ambitious project to date. An album which strikes the delicate balance between form and formlessness. Between nostalgia, and a crumbling, decaying vision of the not-too-distant future.

Through Candle Nine's ever-evolving style, from his early performances as a singer-songwriter, to his bloom into electronic music, he has become adept at exploring the contrasts of beauty and dissonance. Candle Nine's use of glitched-out synths, multi-layered guitar assaults and harsh, yet nimble, percussions creates an atmosphere which is both eerie and serene.
